Deschutes Brewery needed to update the control system for one of the brewing lines. They asked Powers of Automation to assist in this time critical project. POA provided an Allen Bradley SLC500 programmable logic controller and 10 inch color touch screen for the project. POA provided the Functional Requirements document which was used to review process steps and product flow, safety issues, graphics for the brewer interface, and ultimately used as a basis for programming.

The Controls and Technologies Manager at the Deschutes Brewery said this project was one of the smoothest running projects he has directed, that the critical time lines had been met, and the system is running perfectly.
